Send files of any size,
instantly & free.
No account. No upload wait. No size limit. Your file streams peer-to-peer, end-to-end encrypted, and nothing ever touches a server.
Sender tab must stay open: their screen must stay awake, the file streams live from their device.
Only connect to people you trust: files arrive directly, we never scan or store them.
Send large video files,
at full quality, free.
Video is where free file transfer limits hurt the most. A few minutes of 4K footage or a single RAW camera file can blow past most competitors' free caps before you've even finished exporting. WeTransfer's free plan tops out at 3 GB, Dropbox Basic at 2 GB, Hightail at a mere 100 MB per file, none of those survive a real production workflow.
TransferFiles.net streams your video file directly to the recipient at its original resolution and bitrate. No re-encoding, no compression, no quality loss, because nothing touches a server in between to compress it.
Built different. Actually free.
Files never touch our servers. That eliminates our costs and your limits.
End-to-End Encrypted
WebRTC's mandatory DTLS-SRTP encryption. On by default, cannot be disabled. Nobody reads your files in transit.
No Upload Wait
Files stream instantly the moment the receiver connects. No waiting for an upload to complete first.
No Size Limit
Most free transfer plans cap you at 2 to 15 GB. We cap nothing. Send 4K videos, project folders, 50 GB archives.

Questions about send large video files
No. The exact bytes on your device are streamed to the receiver's device. There's no server-side processing step where compression could happen.
Either. There's no file type restriction and no size cap, so whether it's a single export or an entire project folder with RAW assets, it transfers the same way.
There's no upper limit on our end. The practical limit is your upload speed and how long you're willing to keep the sending tab open, very large files (50GB+) just take longer to transfer.
For one-to-one delivery, generally yes, because there's no upload-then-download round trip. The file moves once, directly, instead of traveling to a server and back down again.
