1. Files you transfer
We do not collect, store, or transmit any files you send or receive. File transfers occur directly between two devices using WebRTC. File data never passes through our servers.
2. Web server logs
Our hosting provider may collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, OS, referring URL, and pages visited. Used for security monitoring only. Retained for up to 30 days.
3. Session codes
When you initiate a transfer, our server generates a short random session code. This code is transient and deleted when the session ends, typically within minutes.
4. Cookies and local storage
- Strictly necessary (localStorage key tf_cv3): Stores your cookie consent preference. Does not track you.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense): With your consent, Google AdSense places cookies to serve personalised ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Analytics: Anonymised, aggregated usage data. Set only with your consent.
5. Google AdSense disclosure
TransferFiles.net participates in Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Opt out at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
